Fireman Skitt also killed. Fireman Joy injured and later died from injuries . 40 pump fire, numerous injuries to Brigade personnel, including DCFO who later had a leg amputation.

Edward Harwood lived in Lewisham, and his family were customers at my parents' shops in Hither Green. I have never forgotten him and the young family he left.
