Passing of Past-Trustee - Gerald Clarkson

The Trust regrets to announce the sad passing of past-trustee its Founder Chair, Gerald Clarkson CBE OStJ, QFSM . 

'Gerry' became the first Chair (Chairman) of the Trust when it was founded and whilst serving as Chief Fire Officer of the London Fire Brigade. His drive to create, promote and raise the profile of the Firefighters Memorial Trust, led to it achieving Royal Charter status.

We remember his commitment to the Trust and to its aims and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
