Further information

Fm Brant had served during WW1 with the Royal Berks Regiment and had suffered an affection of the neck resulting from a gas attack. Use of an extinguisher said to have caused recurrance. Interesting cause. Possibly use of CTC extinguisher which was later found to produce Phosgene gas when in contact with hot metal.
