Beckenham Fire Station. Fragments of bomb that exploded close to towing vehicle pierced the petrol tank and enveloped the vehicle in flames. Firemen , D Chalmers and S Hudders also killed. Fireman C Taylor awarded George Medal for his attempts to rescue other crew members.
